Almost all the pastors who gave prognosis on 2023 general election, nwon gbe gbagi. Hardly, will you find one that is absolutely correct. There’s none of us who gave prognosis to the glory of God. Why did we not give prophecy to the glory of God?
- All of us gave prophecies for self glorification so that men can make us God.
- So that they’ll hold us in high esteem rather than giving it to God….
- So that plenty people can come to our church, which means more tithes and more offerings to the kitties..
- So that we can be famous. See pastors as mere men like you!!

Did God actually speak with his prophets?Yes he actually spoke not with all of them.
Why did his words not come to pass???
a.Because there is grandiloquence in delivering his words,so,he applied the theory of prophet Jonah……Jonah1:1-2;they repented…..3:1-10;Mt12:41.
b.We did not give those prophecies in order to glorify God but to glorify ourselves. God can not be mocked…..Gal6:7-9.
c.We prophesied to compel it to happen. We did not prophecy and pray to negate the evil therein…Jonah 4:1-3;Jer5:31
d.We misinterpret his word….1Cor11:1-7&13
e. Don’t rejoice or gloat when your enemy falls…….Prov24:17-18;17:5;16:5……..read

This is one of the benefits of Jesus’s death and resurrection they’re enjoying.
Did he ask us to propagate it? I doubt.
