When I said in my last month’s sermon, that call no man here on earth your father, I’m talking about your spirit man and your soul. No human being is competent enough to be addressed as father of the spirit and soul of any human being but God……Mt23:9; Mal1:6-14.
The spirit and soul of any human being are the immediate offspring of God who after he had formed the body of the man out of the earth, he breathed into him a vital spirit so that he became a living soul.
The fathers of our flesh must be called fathers and of course we must give them due respect. It is the duty of Children to give the honor of obedience to the just commands of their Parents, and the reverence of submission to their corrections when they disobey. It is not only authority that Parents have over their children but a charge from God to give their children correction as at when due because all parents indeed have Commanding Power given to them by God. This is not given to MOGs by God. On this note, only God the Almighty must be allowed to be known and called Father of our spirits/souls…. Heb12:9…..Read.
Our beliefs/faith (some call it religion) must not be derived from or made to depend upon any man but Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He laid down his life for us hence the only being competent to be addressed as FATHER due to the power of attorney given him by his Father and of course the maximum price paid on the cross of Calvary…..1Cor15:24-28; Heb2:8. We are born again to the spiritual and divine life, not of corruptible seed but by the word of God…..1Pt1:23. We must not jurare in the verba magistri ie swear to the dictate of any creature, not the best or wisest, nor rivet our faith on any man’s sleeve because we do not know where he will carry it to.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth did not go to heaven with his name. He gave the Apostles his name to be used here on earth pending his sudden expected return to this crooked and perverse world for the second time. When he got to heaven with his glorious body, a brand new name was given to him which covers his new status as Everlasting Father, Prince of peace, Alfa and Omega……no body knows his new name except those who have the white stone which the new name is inscribed…..Rev2:17 but before he left this planet earth, he laid down his name as the foundation upon which all believers are built, planted, standing and entrenched…….Eph2:13-22;1Cor3:3-12..must read
Many of these pastors and prophets prophesied in 2023 of who would be the President of Nigeria and who would not. I want to arm you with the word of God so that you’ll know that men of God are mere men like you according to the word of the Lord which He gave to me. If a man give prophecy and it did not come to pass, is that the one that is qualified by the word of God to be your father? Is it not written that any man who gives prophecy and the prophecy fails should be killed?…..Deu18:20-22 They’re not competent to be your father but God alone…Eze14:3-11;13:1-5;Mt7: 22-23… Must read.
Miserable Comforters:
Who are miserable comforters; alagabagebe, hypocrites, Sadducees, Pharisees A. They’re Ever learning, During her preaching,oh! No. She sabii preach eennn. What did she say, I beg if you hear eeenn! No, you go change. What did she say, wait now, she began to dissect enn, she break everything down wey be say you go understand. What is it she say, it’s because you are not in church that’s why, had it been you’re in church enn,I beggg, you go take.They don’t hear anything.As it enters the right ear it goes out through the left ear and vice versa.They’re miserable comforters. They can’t tell you one word she said while preaching.
